Drawing with pen and ink invites discipline and focus. It is faster than watercolor or colored pencils, more stable than graphite. Some people fear making a “mistake” and stay away from pen and ink. “Mistakes” can be fixed.

Things will talk to you if you learn to listen; listening to your inner voice will tell you all you need to know in language you can understand. One of the joys of my life has been learning not to be afraid to express myself.            Dianne Boate
